Coming from a formal education in sports - and obtaining a PhD -, my original dream was almost singularly focused on becoming a sports policy researcher…
Until discovering the fascinating world of manufacturing guitars. I honed the craft at the CMB Luthier school, ultimately leading to founding Guitar Tribe.
My efforts are for all guitar enthousiasts that don't want it to be at the expense of our planet. Above all, I just love sound sound tools.
I love to build it. I hope to provide all those who share my passion for guitars an opportunity to choose an honest, quality, sustainable product that can be passed on for generations.
I am eager to repair it. The most eco-friendly guitar is the one you already own. Little as satisfying as bringing new life into a broken instrument.
I am thrilled that, soon, you will also be able to swap it. What guitar addicts crave for: playing all kinds of guitars for a limited monthly amount of money. I hope it will lead to a decline in mass produced guitar sales. A unique eco guitar concept that will be launched soon.

WANDRE GUITARS
Wandre Guitars is an electric guitar brand started by the Italian guitar manufacturer Antonio Vandrè Pioli. These guitars are famous for their original shapes, aluminium necks and unique switches. I fell in love with guitar design because of him. There is an excellent book written about his turbulent life and unique guitars.

SINTOMS LTD.
Sintoms Ltd. produces quality frets in Europe (and not in Asia or the US, so we cut on shipping footprint). We particularly love their special bronze frets with have 15% content of tin (the most ringing bronze), are gold in color and have a hardness of ten times the standard nickel silver frets.
DHL GOGREEN.
Shipping is dirty. For every international shipment we do, we pay an extra GoGreen climate neutral service fee. With this, DHL helps us offset our greenhouse gas logistics emissions through recognized climate protection projects (like e.g., Lesotho.fee) GOGreen also ensures optimized transport routes, alternative drive vehicles and energy-efficient warehouses.
MOOSE FäRG
Swedish wood paint based on the original schlamfärg; a paint for wood with traditional formulation with linseedoil and wheat flour. We like to use this ecofriendly alternative for the hazardous flammable and toxic solvents in nitrocellulose lacquers still used (!) by the big guitar manufacturers.
CREA.RE
Handcrafted unique ecological & sustainable instrument cases and belts for musical instruments. Every Scavenger guitar includes a Crea.re guitar belt (made from safety belts salvaged from old cars!)
ZEUS
Packaging is always kept to a minimum and we only use FSC approved, recycled and recyclable cardboard and print using water based inks. We do not include packing slips or unnecessary packing materials.
RUBIO MONOCOAT
A plant-based hardwax oil wood finish that is 0% VOC. Its unique technology forms a molecular bond with the topmost fibers of the wood. We like to use this ecofriendly oil for builds where the guitar grain is showed.
HARVESTER GUITARS
Harvester Guitars is Australian luthier Anthony Paine. Undeniably funky guitars and basses drawing from the quirky and unusual creations that came out of Italy and Japan in the ‘60s. Very tastefully executed. Truly inspirational stuff.
